WARRANTIES - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Best Italia guarantees their domestic equipment against defective material or faulty manufacture for the period of 2 years on Best Italia ovens hobs and extractors from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This guarantee only applies to Best Italia ovens, hobs and extractors.

Where the appliance is used or installed more than 50 kilometres from the nearest Best Italia Showroom or Service Agent, travel costs to the place of use or installation shall be for the account of the purchaser.

This guarantee is given on condition that only genuine Best Italia parts and accessories are used at all times in the appliance and that an authorised Best Italia service agent services the appliance.

Best Italia shall not be responsible for damage of any kind resulting from electricity fluctuations, faults in the building wiring, faulty installations, and improper use of controls of failure to use the appliance in accordance with the operating instructions and/or general misuse and/or abuse.

Any attempt by an unauthorized person to repair or tamper with the equipment shall render this guarantee null and void.

This guarantee does not apply to light bulbs, loose glass, glass oven doors and enamelled surfaces or filters and other parts subject to wear and tear.

Best Italia shall not be responsible in terms of this guarantee for the replacement or repair of any part of the equipment, which may have been damaged in transit, or by installers or other workers.

Extractor fans are not for use over a barbeque and if so used no guarantee applies.

All gas appliances are to be fitted by a certified gas installer or the guarantee will be null and void.

Repairs carried out under guarantee do not extend the guarantee period for the appliance. Parts removed during guarantees repairs become the property of Best Italia.

This guarantee shall be available only to an original purchaser or Best Italia ovens, hobs and extractor from Best Italia or an authorised Best Italia Dealer or Distributor in and where the appliances has been retained if use in the Republic of South Africa.

Failure to produce documentary proof of the date or original acquisition by the original purchaser will result in normal charges being levied for the work carried out and the parts supplied.

The liability of Best Italia under this guarantee is limited to the replacement and/or repair of the defective parts within the guarantee period and does not extend to the installation or removal of the appliances.

Furthermore, Best Italia does not accept responsibility or liability to compensate for any consequential loss or damage or any kind caused by or due to the failure of operation of any equipment to which this guarantee applies.
